you know what’s more important? she didn’t say yes or show any sign of wanting what you were doing.

you can not and must not ever assume consent merely by the absence of denial. consent is an active thing, a deliberate thing, not simply passive acceptance of a horror that is being done.

fear is a silencer, she was terrified and therefore silent. it’s more common than you think.

i hope both jack tweed and anthony davis get locked up for a very long time and that horrific things are done to them in jail – perhaps then they will understand the nature of true consent as opposed to the lack of denial.
