it’s been a while…. sorry. actually i’m not sorry, i have a life that exists outside the virtual world. but hey, it’s still been a while and i did debate ditching the blog as an i can’t be arsed any more thing.
then i was doing some research for something else and i had a conversation with a friend about it….
i’ve been reading some “erotic fiction” and some of it is really well written with nicely developed characters and plot – but some is just shockingly badly written drivel. some of it is excellent writing that just happens to have some semi graphic sex scenes in amongst the story, admittedly more sex than i’d expect in any other written work but still, there’s plot and character and the writing is good.
but most of what i’ve found and read is crap and quite frankly just an excuse for teenage boy level “how many times can i say cock or dick on one page” or “how many rude words can i put in” *snigger* it’s pathetic.
i mean, it’s just plumbing after all, it’s just anatomy and really, anatomy just gets in the way of the feelings, of the emotion of the moment – in real life and in the written word.
it’s all about domination and persuasion and oh you want to really and she just gave in when touched in “the right place”
fuck that. it’s just another weapon in the war against womyn, just another level in the grinding down of all womyn into “but you want it really” it’s verbal violence. i’m actually shocked at how badly crafted it is and that some folks would actually choose to read it.
no means no, persuasion is only a step away from rape and anatomy is so damned crude. oh and learn about spelling, grammar, punctuation and actually, just learn how to write properly or sod off.
